Bugibba is a seaside town in the north of Malta and one of the most popular tourist resorts on the island.
Although the lively town we see today started being developed in the 1960s, its history goes back to prehistoric times, with a small temple from that era still standing to this day. Nowadays, the town is best known for its nightclubs, restaurants, coffee shops, cinema and casino. In summer, it is also popular with swimmers and beach lovers, as well as scuba divers, who can visit wrecks and admire the sea life in the area.
The Malta National Aquarium is another very popular attraction in the area. It is spread over 20,000 square metres and showcases Malta’s rich marine life.
